01 Oct Sean Devereux returns after eight weeks in Arughat!
Sean Devereux, medical student at Hull has just returned from an eight week stay in Arughat and attachment to the hospital. They are now in the building that was built as new but badly damaged by last year’s earthquake. Sean was living on the farm with the Lamichane family during his stay. He says that he learned a lot of medicine that was different from that seen in Europe. He was able to go into the Arughat School and teach some first aid to the students. He was able to give the ASF a lot of useful up to date insights into the problems the hospital are facing in this post earthquake phase.
